Privacy notice — beta list
This notice explains what happens to the details you give us when you ask to join the Tellt open beta list. Tellt is pre-launch: the beta list is the only personal data this website collects.
Who we are
The data controller is Tellt, United Kingdom. Contact us about your data at datacontrol@tellt.io.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Optionally, the markets you care about and how you trade, if you choose them on the form.
- When you signed up and confirmed, and which version of this notice you saw, so we can show you agreed.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check you're not a bot. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and connection to do this; we don't receive or store it.
Why, and our lawful basis
We use your email address to confirm your signup and to tell you when the open beta opens. The optional answers help us decide which markets to cover first. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by confirming your email address and can withdraw at any time.
Who processes it
The site, the signup database and our email sending run on Cloudflare, which processes the data on our behalf. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
- Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days.
- If you unsubscribe, your details are deleted within 30 days.
- Confirmed signups are kept until the open beta launches and we've told you about it, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent. Every email we send after you confirm has an unsubscribe link. For anything else, email datacontrol@tellt.io. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
